On the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Bahrain’s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani to reaffirm and expand the longstanding bond between the two nations.
The leaders expressed mutual commitment to strengthening engagement in key areas: economic cooperation, regional connectivity, and collaboration in multilateral forums. They pledged to work together more closely, building on a foundation of trust and shared vision for progress.
In their discussion, they also turned attention to the crisis in Gaza, underscoring the urgent need for an immediate ceasefire and humanitarian relief for the affected population.
